About Us
Meridian Housing Foundation was established in 1960 through a collaborative partnership between the City of Spruce Grove, the Town of Stony Plain, and Parkland County to address the housing needs of seniors in the region. Over the decades, the Foundation has evolved into a registered charity dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing solutions for residents across the Tri-Region.
Today, Meridian Housing Foundation is a community builder, delivering inclusive, affordable housing programs that support seniors, individuals and families across the region. From independent and supportive senior housing to rent supplement programs that preserve access to the private market, our work safeguards housing security, dignity, and opportunity for those most in need.
