About Us

Meridian Housing Foundation was established in 1960 when local municipalities entered into a collaborative partnership to provide housing for seniors in the community. Today, these municipalities include the City of Spruce Grove, Town of Stony Plain, Parkland County and the Village of Wabamun.

The Foundation was established as a Housing Management Body by Ministerial Order under the Alberta Housing Act in 1995.

Meridian Housing Foundation's portfolio includes 8 housing facilities for seniors 65 and older, including independent- and supportive-living options.

Our mission: To provide and manage independent, supportive and affordable housing for seniors.
Our vision: Creating homes and a supportive lifestyle for seniors in our communities.
