****************************************************************************
Dane Lloyd was elected Member of Parliament for Sturgeon River-Parkland in 2017. He was re-elected in 2019 and in 2021. Dane and his wife Raechel along with their children, Brooke and Alexander, split their time between Ottawa and their home in Stony Plain.
In 2021, Dane was appointed Shadow Minister for Emergency Preparedness, a portfolio that has been elevated given recent and serious natural disasters and the Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also serves on the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. Dane holds a commission as a lieutenant in the Canadian Infantry Reserves.
Dane’s priorities are to stand up for the values and prosperity of his neighbours in Sturgeon River-Parkland, a community that is the home of farmers, energy workers, small business owners, teachers, nurses and many other professions who want to make a better life for their families. He won’t stop fighting for Alberta’s values against a Liberal Government that is out of touch with the reality of rural and small-town Albertans.
