About Dave
Dave started his entrepreneurial career in 1975 when he turned a passion for high performance automotives into a thriving business that eventually employed 35 staff. From automotive engineer to machinist to race car driver, Dave pioneered many innovations that allowed his success to spread to the western United States and Canada. But through a series of poor business decisions, the automotive business was forced to close in the early nineties.
Undeterred, Dave returned to his original passion for electronics just as the personal computer revolution was gaining ground in the mid nineties. Working from a home office and shop, he started a small computer business focused on serving friends and local businesses with new technology. In 1997, he joined forces with two other partners to start Trinus Technologies. Today, TRINUS is the preeminent provider of Managed IT Services to municipalities in Alberta and have a growing contingent of professional and industrial business clients. TRINUS currently employes about 30 staff in their Stony Plain location that serve the business and technology needs of clients all over Alberta.
