Chamber in a Bottle
Normally this event would be called Chamber on Tap, and we'd meet at a local Spruce or Stony pub and interview a guest live, but we're making the best out of the current situation and bringing this Chamber event to the comfort of your own home!
We have set-up the interview to be done through Zoom as a video conference. You can login, crack a beer from your couch and still socialize like you normally would, just in a responsible social distancing way!
The interview will get underway at 6:00 PM, but like a normal Chamber on Tap event, the doors will open at 5:00 PM so you can virtually socialize with each other if you'd like.

Our Chamber In A Bottle guests are Chelsea Hohnstein & Cynthia Hohnstein of Pet Foods Etc.
Chelsea Hohnstein was born and raised in Stony Plain, and now resides on an acreage between Alberta Beach and Onoway. She has been in the customer service/retail industry for many years, and managed a well-known health food store in our area for the majority of those years. While on maternity leave, her parents, Wes and Cynthia, owners of Pet Foods Etc. in Stony Plain approached Chelsea and her brother Tyson about potentially running a second location in Spruce Grove. This was such an exciting opportunity, and with her past management experience and knowledge in human nutrition (that shares a lot of parallels with animal nutrition), Chelsea obviously said yes. Chelsea's favorite part about business is interacting with the public and staff, and learning something new everyday.
Cynthia Hohnstein, and her husband Wes have lived in Stony Plain since childhood, and they now reside in Spring Lake with their two dogs, Morryson and Bella, and their cat Bandit. Before opening Pet Foods Etc, Cynthia was a animal loving social worker, and Wes worked in a warehouse at TransAlta. When the opportunity came up to own a pet food store (as many of you probably remember was the Old Mill), they made a great team by being able to combine Cynthia's people skills, and Wes's skills in purchasing and inventory management. Pet Foods Etc. is grateful to have been successful enough to open a second location in Spruce Grove. Their favorite parts of being in business are of course helping people with their pets, and being able to contribute to a community they are proud to live in.
Anthony Worbeck from ACKT Industries will be interviewing this month's special guest.
